It has been 8 years when Gmail was first launched on April 1, 2004. And if you are an aggressive Gmail user like me, if must have already seen or soon see the screen shot as shown below:

Now the options left to us is either to buy additional space by paying google (which I bet most of us won’t like to do) or get rid of big sized mails. But going by individual mails to erase them is not only time consuming but also not practically feasible.
FindBigMail is a service just launched to rescue for the same. All you need to do is enter your Gmail login credentials to the site and leave on the site to do the rest. After scanning the mails, the site categorizes the big mails under the following labels:
“FindBigMail – Top”
“FindBigMail > 10mb” messages are larger than 10,000,000 bytes.
“FindBigMail > 5mb” messages are between 5,000,000 and 10,000,000 bytes.
“FindBigMail > 1mb” messages are between 1,000,000 and 5,000,000 bytes.
Once you know which mails are taking maximum spaces in your inbox, you can download the attachment from these mails (if you need them) and delete them.
Make sure after deleting these mails, you go to the “Thrash” folder and delete them for ever to immediately free the space from your mail box.
