Argo Navis IT becomes preferred vendor under the Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Rapid Response Program (R2P)

Galaxy Scientific has designated Argo Navis IT a preferred vendor under the Galaxy Scientific Prime Contract for the CECOM R2P Program. 

Morristown, NJ – Galaxy Scientific has designated Argo Navis IT a preferred vendor under the Galaxy Scientific Prime Contract for the CECOM R2P Program.  This designation is effective through the period of the contract, which, if all option periods are exercised shall expire on January 30^th, 2010.  The designation allows the firms to jointly market and respond to Requests for Task Execution Plans utilizing our combined solutions for various Government agencies.

The US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) at Fort Monmouth, NJ has awarded Galaxy Scientific Corporation of Egg Harbor, NJ, a contract for the Rapid Response Program.  Galaxy is one of eight contractors awarded this contract to ensure the successful design, development, deployment, and operation of critical systems across the spectrum of US Government agencies. The total award is estimated to have a maximum value of more than $2.7 billion over an 8 year period.

The work to be performed is diverse and will include but not be limited to ; research and development, technology insertion, systems integration, installation and logistics support, training, enterprise architecture development, information assurance, information technology and Homeland Defense.
