Here we are testing the 8MP camera that comes with the Samsung Galaxy S3.
First I’ve got to say that Samsung has done a great with the camera software, introducing great cool features that meet the user’s daily use.
It’s to underline that Galaxy S3 offers a Shutter-Zero-Lag Shot, to whichis added also the continuous shooting mode with the option to to receive the best shot preselected by the software.
Also interesting is the possibility to have the HDR shots, but the functions are much more.
Obviously tap-to-focus and ability to ZOOMing with multi-touch. Very positive is the ability to exploit the focus with the touch and the ZOOMing while you are recording, but also the autofocus i very fast.
Like other devices, Samsung introduces in the SGS3 the anti-vibration software, which reduce the shaking of the hand in the video.
Very good is the choise to use the LED Flash during the focus in the situation of darkness, in order to obtain the best focus also in these conditions.
Let’s speak about the results.
I have to say that this Galaxy S3 takes really good shots and the pics are very sharp even if zooming in the Gallery. Also Macros are really good.
I liked very much the recording quality and I can say that is the best result @1080p which I’ve tried until now.
Below there are some shots and videos.
The last image, the one with the Android and Sean Connery, has been made in situations of total darkness (shutters closed and locked door) and you can see that the focus is perfect (what I explained before).
The video is divided into two parts: first recorded without anti-vibration control and after with the anti-vibration turned on. The difference I think is evident.
