Tucked away among the gently rolling Hills of the Sun, with the unique Apuan Alps behind and a few minutes away from the wonderful seaside of Cinque Terre and Versilia, our Farm is the ideal base for your cultural, natural and sport excursions. On your way back, you will enjoy a deserving relax in our garden, dipped in roses and laurel trees. The peace and the privacy guaranteed by the surrounding countryside will help you find the right harmony.
WHO WE ARE
The new opened DiPaterno’s Farm is located on the hills, a few kilometres from Sarzana, a medieval town on the border between Liguria and Tuscany.
Surronding by vineyards and olive groves, the farm offers the guest the chance of an extreme relaxing stay whilst being the perfect starting point for a journey to the sea or mountains.
Nearby you can arrange for boat trips, horse riding, trekking and mountain bike rental.
The Farm covers an area of approximately 4,5 hectares, planted with olive trees, grapevines and fruit trees. The grapes of vineyards, which covers an area of about 7100 mq, are annually used for the production of Vermentino Colli di Luni DOC.
Surrounding the Farm there are also 600 olive trees for the production of extra virgin olive oil and about 100 fruit trees (apple, pear, peach, apricot, cherry, black cherry, figs, plums, persimmons, pomegranates and hazel), whose products are served or sold to the guests.
The activity is supervised by the owner using strictly natural methods and without the use of harmful substances such as herbicides.
ROOMS AND FACILITIES
The Farm is composed by 5 rooms (3 double rooms and 2 triple rooms), each featured with private entrance, private bathroom and air conditioning.
In addiction, the wide green spaces for guests are provided with tables, chairs and sun umbrellas where you can sunbathe and enjoy relaxing moments.
The Farm is also ideal for a family stay, offering the opportunity to add a cot with sides or a fourth bed.
DIRECTIONS
You can easily reach us:
BY PLANE: the nearest airports are the Pisa Airport (50 km) or the Genova Airport (90km)
BY TRAIN: Stop at Sarzana Train Station and take a taxi cab
BY CAR: take the A12 GENOVA – ROMA, get off at the Sarzana exit and follow signs for Sarzana Centro/La Spezia/Lerici/Ameglia/Bocca di Magra, merging onto Via Brigata Partigiana Ugo Muccini. Slight right onto Piazza San Giorgio and continue onto Via Sobborgo Emiliano, straight onto Pisa direction. At the first gas station on your left side (TOTAL), turn left onto Via Nave.
Go straight up to a bakery located on your left side, then take the adjacent Via Rigazzo. Continue for about 1,5 km, as far as you reach a brown house on the left (Via Paterno 63). Take the tiny street next to the left fence of the house and go down to the parking lot of the Farm.

Pet animals are allowed, subject to agreement and with a daily surcharge of € 5.
For longer stays, our rooms are cleaned every 2 days.
We normally change bath towels and bed linens every 3 days.
At the moment, we accept only payment by cash or money transfer.
