It’s been a while since I updated this blog – I’ve been working hard on Gem Miner 2 (more details in a post next week).
Also, in the last couple of weeks I’ve been adding new features to Gem Miner. An update should be out before the end of this week with the following:
- Deeper mines
- New ore
- New item in shop – signs
- Feint acheivements
- Various graphical improvements
- New dificulty level – extreme (save game is deleted when you die)
- Giant Gem position randomized
- Bug fixes

Love free mine game. Wondering if the game is done when all the edges are there and can’t see anymore treasure. Is the paid version the same size or is there more mine area to clear? Abduction is great too btw.

Once you reach the bottom, that’s the limit of the free version. The full version has much deeper mines, with more ores and item to buy in the shop. It also has more difficulty levels and challenges.

Great to hear.
I have patience but my 8 year old made me check almost hourly today. I promised to wake him up and let him play a 1/2 hour or so before work if it comes out.

How do you get the signs to change? The in game text says to stand in front and click over your head, but that doesn’t seem to do anything.

Just to follow up, you can only change the signs if there is an empty space above the sign, which makes it somewhat less useful.
