Owning and managing businesses until 1994, Gary then held senior positions in both industry and practice. After qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1998 Gary joined BPP, becoming the Managing Director and founder of BPP Cambridge in 2002. Gary left BPP to set up Acorn Professional Tutors 'a dedicated CIMA course provider'. Gary also has provided tuition for Cambridge University and internal tuition courses for Shell Petroleum.

Safina worked in industry for over six years in senior positions, for companies such as Shell Petroleum and British Telecom, covering all aspects of financial and management accounting. Qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant, in 2003 and teaching in professional accountancy for over 17 years with Acorn Professional Tutors. Safina also has provided tuition for Cambridge University and internal tuition courses for Shell Petroleum.

Tufal graduated with a degree in accountancy before pursuing a career in practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG, where he qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant. He has developed a broad range of professional skills including financial accounting, audit, internal controls and financial modelling, specialising in financial modelling for of private finance initiatives and mergers & acquisitions. Tufal has been lecturing in professional accountancy for over 17 years with Acorn Professional Tutors. Tufal also has provided tuition to organisation such as BPP University and First Intuition.
