[10] Treasure 10 (Boss Rush Mode)
------------------------
Must start Unlimited Mode to be able to find these fragments. In the same spots where there were forced fights that you cant run away from, a new Boss will spawn with the enemies. Defeat them and they may drop a map piece.

  3. Ah, thanks. Ive been meaning to update it but I have no Wii at the moment =( I just restarted Unlmited mode when I let someone borrow it.

  4. You need to Break rush the Mini Bosses on each island during Unlimited Difficulty Mode - they won't drop map pieces unless you defeat them with a break rush. Love you work!

    ReplyDelete
  5. About what Arthur said, it's not true that you HAVE to Break Rush them, it's just that the chance is really low if you don't - I know this from experience. Also, from what I can tell you can't steal their map pieces with Nami's Ep1 Shake attack (forgot it's name).

    ReplyDelete
  6. For Christian, I believe Nami's shake attack to steal items is called 'Whirlwind' =D

And about the Boss Rush, I'm not sure which boss it occurs to on each island. Would I have to kill the bosses in Unlimited mode that replace Kidd, Smoker, Lucci & Kaku, Donflamingo with break rush?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Well, truth is, the bosses from UC1 don't replace the bosses in the ordeals from UC2, and you won't get the map pieces from Kidd, Smoker etc.

I've checked twice in the game, and from what I saw, there are several bosses on the islands whom will give you the map pieces. These bosses are specific, and here's the list of which boss is located where and what will they give:

Island 1: Bon Clay - Baroque Works first meeting spot. Gives a map piece.
Island 1: Spandam - quicksand area, right before Crocodile. Gives a Mix Candy.

Island 2: Arlong - appears underground, the first time you use Shark Submerge. Gives a Mix Candy.
Island 2: Aokiji - appears before the western fishing spot. Gives a map piece.

Island 3: Gecko Moria - appears on the first regular place you'll fight zombies. Gives a Mix Candy.

Island 4: Calgara - appears on the spot of Golden Fruits. Gives a map piece.

There might be a possibility for other bosses to appear on the islands, but from what I've experienced - I've only got the maps from these guys. That means you'll have to restart your game after you've collected 3 Map Pieces if you want all of them.

***By the way, for where the Boss Rush is, you need to defeat Smoker. He gives the first Gold meter.***

  8. Thanks a lot Genkishi!! The locations you gave helped me a lot by far. Also, I've noticed something particular about the UC1 bosses that appear in UC2: they're all either associated with the island they're on, or the enemies that fight with them.

For example, as Aokiji is an Admiral, he fights you with marine agents and gunmen. And Moria fights with zombies and Calgara appears on the Floating Isle.

Speaking of Island 4, as well as Calgara appearing, like you said, there's also Bartholomew Kuma who fights you with 2 Pacifistas, and gives you the final map piece. He appears at one of the castle bridges, where Franky needs to build a ladder there, and a spot from the Wherever Cannon.

Anyhow, thanks a lot for your help with the UC1 bosses, Genkishi.

  9. Well, as a matter of fact, it is true that the bosses from the games are found in the places where it is mostly common to find them. Nice of you to notice that Mubz.

At any rate, I'll get straight to the thing. I have no idea whenever Kuma gives you the map piece or not, but I suppose since you checked and you got the heads sign, it is true. I too fought against Bartholomew Kuma, and turns out it's one of the most annoying fights. My suggestion - use Usopp's Pachinko Chaos to defeat him. Also, the difference between the Pacifista to the actual Shichibukai is that Kuma's jacket is somehow darker.

I checked throughout the game for the missing boss, and I found it after lots of research, probably after Boss Rush mode, but I have the theory it is true. The boss we were missing is Monster Chopper, found after the green smoke while on your way to fighting Whitebeard. I've also came up with several tactics to defeat the bosses, so here's the new list:

    Island 1:
Bon Clay - appears with several Baroque Works agents, right near the lake. Moves quite quickly, several to Brook and Sanji together. Use Sanji to defeat him. You'll get a Map Piece.
Spandam - appears before Crocodile at the quicksand area, alongside 2 Pacifista. He will only use Funkfreed when far from you, leaving the Pacifista to do the work, and mainly trying to drown you. Use Franky to defeat him. You'll get a Mix Candy.

    Island 2:
Arlong - Appears with a large group of 'New Enemies', after you use the normal spot of the Shark Submerge. He will basically use mainly his shake attack and dash attack, so I suggest usage of either Robin or Nami against him. This is also due to the massive amount of enemies. When you'll defeat him, you'll receive a Mix Candy.
Aokiji - appears alongside many Naval Officers, right before the western fishing spot. This guy attacks only from close range, but that doesn't mean Usopp's your best choice. Against this guy and his special move, Chopper would be the best choice. When you defeat him you'll receive a Map Piece.

    Island 3:
Gecko Moria - not hard to find, simply the normal place where you'll fight zombies at the first time. He'll appear with several of those, but be careful of his moves. His special technique is homing and has a very high chance of hitting you, aside for his Brick Bats. Use either Brook or Zoro to finish him off quickly before letting him attack. You'll receive a Mix Candy from this.
Monster Chopper - Appears in the muddy ground after you vacuum the green smokescreen that separates you and Whitebeard. He's definitely overpowered if actually hitting you, but there's still a way to beat him without getting harmed. He'll appear with several zombies, mostly Generals. Use Usopp's special moves (not Sogeking) to defeat him. You'll receive a Map Piece from this.

    Island 4:
Calgara - appears in the spot of Golden Fruits, with many Enforcers and Robots. This guy is incredibly wild, simply running around and hitting endless times. I'd suggest using Luffy when his defense state is maxed, or Franky although his rather slow movements. When you're done with him, you'll receive a Map Piece.
Bartholomew Kuma - Apparently, by my guess, he will come to you after you defeat Doflamingo. He's right before the area where Franky needs to fix the ladder, with 2 Pacifista accompanying him. You can tell the different because he will use his shake attack many times, and he will appear rather darker. Use everyone you have against this guy, I used Sanji since I'm best suited with him. You'll receive your final Map Piece in this fight.

Then again, this guide may be wrong, but considering how every character fights, you have a rather good chance with these choices if you haven't ignored any characters and based only on those you like. You can always try using the one you're best suited with, but these were my choices.

  10. can someone please how to get to garp pleaseeee
and where to get the treasure 8 fragments pls.........????/

    ReplyDelete
  11. If you want to get unlimited mode , you need to finish the game 3 times ???!!!

    ReplyDelete
  12. To caio : To get Garp you must defeat him in hard mode as an optional boss .

    ReplyDelete
  13. please someone tell me how do I get shirohige has a barrier that keeps me going and I do not know how to destroy it

    ReplyDelete
  14. shirohige ... do you mean whitebeard ? Anyway , if you wanna get "shirohige"(whitebeard) you need to destroy that green gas ... to destroy it , you need the high-powered vacuum cleaner . To enable development and fix it , you must find the treasure 8 in floating isle . You can see the hints 1,2 above ...Hope this helps

  15. I have four main questions that I'd like answered

First; When fighting the bosses in normal and hard mode, can I get a map piece from them if I beat them in break rush mode?

Second; Do I get unlimited mode by beating the game in hard mode? And If so, is it only then I can get the characters from opuc1 plus Bon-chan?

Third; How Do I get boss rush mode? Is it by getting all the map pieces?

Fourth; Anyone know of an easy way to get all the different map pieces? Are there random enemies that drop map pieces or are there chosen targets you have to kill? Can Nami steal map pieces from any enemy and how big is the chance for that? I know she can steal at least one map piece from the pirates/bandites, since my first pirate/bandit piece came from stealing with Nami

I understand if there are several questions that can't be answered but I hope to get as many answers as possible. Thank you in advance and excuse me for being such a nucianse and not figure this out on my own.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ok here are the answers : 1)No,only in unlimited/ultimate mode
    2)Hard AND very hard mode
    3)Yes , or if you now the place , just 1( i think )
4)Only bosses drop map pieces , but if you know where the treasure chest is ( Hints 1 , 2 treasure 10 ) you just need 1 map piece ( i think ) . Also , you can't steal the map pieces with nami's whirlwind ... That's all ... hope this helps

  17. Thank you bboy vasman for your really quick response. I don't think i'll be able to beat the game in very hard mode though. i just started hard mode and I found it hard to defeat crocodile. I don't want to imagine what it's going to be like when facing doflamingo, kizaru and the last boss.

Question: How to avoid the last boss's (first stage) purple energy that he fires from the shoulder?

And one last thing, does the first b in bboy possibly stand for Bon?

    ReplyDelete
  18. 1)question : i haven't beat the last stage in normal !!! Maybe you should eat some food from sanji and get more life ... or SP .(Everything that i know is from youtube and gamespot . Im a new in the game but im very interested in it )

    2) B-boy means Breakdance boy . Breakdance is a dance that you do a lot of acrobatics . It's like hip-hop . There are lots of competitions. if you put in youtube Breakdance you will see .

    ReplyDelete
  19. Wow, really? And I thought since you knew so much you've already beaten the game and gotten to unlimited mode. I were able to defeat the last boss by using dual action tonic over and over and using Luffy's gomu gomu no storm. But it was barely. Suceeded the first time though. I never used any restorative drug during the normal mode since I thought I would get to keep it when starting over in hard mode. Guess I was wrong. You lose every item when restarting. So I'd advice you too use up all the items before restarting to increase health and sp.

I understand, but I thought it might have been bon, Mr. 2. Because Ivankov usually calls bon clay bon-boy.

  20. Hiya! I just wanted to say this Faq is really awesome, I was unsure where to get some stuff but this set me straight and sailing. I wanted to say that although rare and improbably. Nami's Whirlwind just stole a map piece, I think maybe it might be rare chance but I checked and the enemy isn't dead either so. It might be possible... or maybe my European version has a nice glitch in it ^^

    ReplyDelete
  21. i don't now but i believe that you don't need all the map pieces to find treasure 10 . U just need to get 1 map piece and you need to know where the treasure is . i also think that what Tristram says is true , but to get a map piece with nami's whirlwind you will need to have it in lvl 30 .

    ReplyDelete
  22. First of I'd like to thank all of you guys for your help. Now, I have two questions.

    1) In Normal mode the max SP growth is 1000. Is there any way to make it increase when I get to Hard mode?

    2) May sound kinda stupid, but... what is Boss Rush Mode? I mean, I understand that you get the OPUC1 Bosses, but is there anything I have to do after getting treasure #10?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Could somebody PLEASE help me? ;w;
I've already defeated, in the Break Rush, a lot of PX-1's... And I got only ONE piece of it's map~
Does anybody know another way to get it quickly? 'Cause my pattience is over... XD
( Sorry about my English, btw :x )

    ReplyDelete
  24. Spyros , 1)No , only HP
2)In boss rush , you will need to defeat all the bosses of UC1 and UC2 one after the other
Raven Roth , just continue killing PX-1s in floating isle in break rush

  25. Hi hi ^^ I got this game yesterday and I'm stuck on island 2 :( It says I have to get "10" of something to use the shark sub-marine.
    Please please help me :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ehm... I don't get it. To use the Shark sub-marine you need one of those snail-like creatures you can find on the Thousand Sunny. Do you mean "after using the sub-marine"? If yes, after using the sub-marine you need Gunpowder. It's easy to make some. Just go to Desert Isle, cut some trees to get some Wood and capture a Fire Hercules (it can be found on those trees). Hope I helped. :)

  27. What happens when im starting a new game?

I have seen that you keep hp/sp level and atacks but what else do you keep when you go from normal to hard / hard to unlimited... and what do you loose?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well, marfur 9, when you start a new game you start from scratch. but if you start the game on hard mode you will keep the following:

    - Hp and Sp increased by food
    - Improvements on Pickaxe, fishing rod and vacuum cleaner
    - Development of mini merry, shark submerge, and also the information about cooking, devepoment and compounding.
    - unlocked Moves and their Levels
    - all unlocked rooms on ship
    - all unlocked characters
    - gathered map pieces
    - Map data ( places you've been at will be shown on map)

    You lose the following:
    - All items in bag and storage
    - all fish in the fish tank
    - The ability to go other islands except for desert isle(until you beat the last boss on the islands)
    - the data of read stone monuments ( you will have to read these again)
    - converted points (meaning you will have to restart with only grass/water points. Don't know what it was
    - spent points at Gaburi stone monuments (you will have to convert points again)

Things you unlock by going into hard mode/unlimited mode:
    - harder bosses. Perhaps regular enemies too. Or you just take increased damage.
    - Possibility to level up your attacks from 10 to 20, and up to 30 at very hard
    - the ability to unlock the final boss (second form) when defeating him
    - The ability to unlock garp during unlimited mode
-In unlimited mode you can also unlock the bosses from One piece unlimited cruise (the first game)

Tips: I would recommend copying your save file before restarting the game on hard mode. So that if there is a boss you missed to unlock and are unable to unlock during harder modes, you can still do so under the easier level.
I would also recommend you too use items for cooking to increase hp and sp, as the items are lost upon restarting. Also complete possible development items. Like the connector and fire bird star. As you will not be able to go to al islands after restarting. And for example, If you use a grass pasta dish on Luffy, the next time it's used the stats gained will be lowered. But when you restart the game it will be restored. Giving as much hp and sp as it did from the beginning. So try to use as much food on your character's as possible.

Hope I was to any help. If you have further questions ask them. Or if you would like to correct an error I've made.

  30. hey, i got mask fragment for sogeking on normal mode, but forgot to make it and did final boss, now it's gone... In hard mode it isnt there either, maybe in unlimited mode, but could anyone tell me?

    ReplyDelete
  31. daryll
you simply find it again in the same place in hard mode :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. @ bboy vasman: Ναι, από Ελλάδα είμαι.

@ daryll: Are you sure it's gone? Well, if it is I think you should try again in Normal Mode. If you don't wanna lose the progress you've made in Hard Mode you could copy your save data to an empty record and then get the Sogeking Mask in Normal Mode. In the case you still can't find it, at least you'll have a backup of your save file.

  33. help i'm stuck at island 4 after beating doflamingo and get upgrades of net, pickaxe and fishing rod i don't no where to go someone please help!!!

  34. okay, no matter how many times i try in that location on the 8th map, i cant get that treasure, it wont appear, and none of the PX-1's i see give me a treasure map piece, can someone help out with this cause its startin to bug me :(

    ReplyDelete
  35. You need at least one piece (lol) for you to be able to get the treasure.

Either kill PX-1's with Break Rush to hopefully make them drop a piece, or find a nice spawn and steal from em with Nami, run away, run back and repeat over and over.

It also helps if you level up Nami's thief skills/abilities/move
