Robin

Music, art, culture, and caffeine. These are the things that flow through Robin’s veins. He’s trained in classical piano, but his roots are in Rock. Even though the first cassette he ever bought was Whigfield, the second was Radiohead’s “The Bends”. He air-guitared to I Mother Earth’s “Used To Be Alright” in grade 8. Drew Marilyn Manson’s “Shock” logo in sharpie on the floor of his Social Studies classroom in Grade 9….it’s still there to this day. Cranked Rob Zombie when he wanted to piss off his parents at age 15, and dealt with his first break-up to Offspring’s “She’s Got Issues”.

Nowadays, Robin doesn’t rebel anymore, but instead channels his relentless energy through radio production and making his evening shows fun. When he’s not in the studio or booth, you’ll find him on the slopes and dj’ing. He’s totally not into graffiti, and is no way, shape, or form inspired by the UK’s Bansky.  You can also catch him in various Vic Juba Community Theater plays, as an active member of the Community Players group, which is actually not a club for swingers, as the name might imply.

Robin likes to keep a finger on the pulse of world events, staying informed while seeking out the humor in our current social state. Catch his features “You Did Whaaaat?”, “The Weekend Review”, and “Rip Tips” on the Goat from 9-midnight, Monday and Tuesdays, and whatever you do, don’t tease him about his pointy white shoes. Some girl in a shoe store told him they were stylish, so just let him believe that.
