Patrick DeLaune focuses his practice on product liability litigation and has served as national coordinating counsel for pharmaceutical sales representative discovery in a nationwide mass tort litigation. His work on that case helped develop national protocols and strategies to defend marketing claims for that type of litigation.
Patrick has thorough experience with appellate briefs; interlocutory appeals; mandamus pleadings; Daubert, pre-trial and post-verdict motions, trial pleadings, and depositions of opposing fact and expert witnesses.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Patrick served as a criminal investigator from 1990-1992 and as Briefing Attorney to the Honorable Bea Ann Smith for the Court of Appeals, Third District of Texas at Austin from 1995-1996.
