DELMARVA BIKE WEEK 2001
Delmarva is the peninsula of land east of the Chesapeake Bay on the Mid-Atlantic coast of the US. The name is coined from the names of the 3 states that make up the peninsula: DELaware, MARyland and VirginiA. The first Delmarva Bike week took place Sept. 6-9, 2001. The sponsors expected about 6,000 bikes ... over 25,000 showed up!
The Tradesmen MC took up residence at the 90th Street camp ground in Ocean City, MD and attended as many events an possible. The weather could not have been better ... hot and sunny every day. We are looking forward to the next Delmarva Bike Week scheduled for September. Hope to see you there.
