The diamond wire saw machines for quarry

Company Profile

BFC MACCHINE was established in 2009 in Carrara, the world's marble production center, with the idea of combining the ultra-long-lasting experiences and knowledge of the founding partners and the manufacture of state-of-the-art and ever-evolving machines.

Our History

1974-2006 Manufacture of quarry wire machines with workflow management by means of electronic board - use of inverters on the towing unit and for peripheral speed of the tool.

2006-2009 Study and use on the PLC machine with dedicated software for complete control of all cutting parameters in complete autonomy, safety and without any operator, multiple point distribution, timed tool cooling water.

2009-2015 Continuous updating of the machine with the use of special motor on the towing unit that guarantees to work at a very low speed, thus ensuring the maximum torque; a linear and constant linear traction that maintains the right tension of the wire by avoiding harsh stresses and tension control within the limits of the standard; use of the oil-hydraulics for rotation and shifting of the engine/flywheel assembly to minimize maintenance works.

2015-2016 Study, design and implementation of a new quarry wire tension control system; this management and tension system allow to combine high cutting speed with low wire consumption and allows the machine to maintain constant tension on the wire without being influenced by external factors (i.e. greater flow of water, electrical voltage drop, cut in materials that are not homogeneous, etc.). A well-distributed wire consumption favors long lasting, more safety, and lower cutting costs.

2016-2018 During this time, our company has continued to make important investments for security and the environment, starting with an ambitious and unique project in the quarry industry.

2018-2021 realization of a new diamond wire saw machine to be able to frame the blocks - cheaper model that meets the continuous need for cost containment while maintaining BFC quality and reliability

2021-2022 realization of a new diamond drilling machine that significantly improves the safety for the recovery of drilling pipes. The work of unscrewing and screwing pipes is carried out with a hydraulic vice on command. In addition to the vice, we use a variable hydraulic rotation on the machine.

2022-2023 realization of a mew template copying lathe for marble and granite and the new diamond drilling machine SPEED BI F 60-80; this machine with a simple change of tools and accessories allows you to make holes dia.60 mm and dia.80mm with hydraulic gearmotor.

Our mission: be reliable partners and offer high-quality specific products

Our goal is to provide our customers with a highly innovative product that ensures compliance of machines manufactured with current safety regulations and introduces further evolution by overcoming the quality and safety standards currently available on the market by improving, at the same time, productivity.

The perfect knowledge of the operation of old machines, everyday work in close contact with quarrymen, continue research for solutions to their needs and their safety, the quick and immediate updating of old technologies by eliminating known defects and incorporating innovative solutions allowed us reaching in a few years a position of primacy in the world market for marble and granite extraction machines.
