The project "Scuola di Mestiere" (Teaching a Job) was conceived in 1998 in Italy by Amedeo Baroni, Attilio Gelati and Enzo Zanca. Based on their extensive experience and well established working relationships, these three craftsmen decided to focus on vocational training as the key factor to improve the quality of work produced by local enterprises. The foundation of the project was established the following year with the support of Mr. Silvano Spagnoli, at the time president of the Association of Painters, and the collaboration of Mr. Venanzio Spoladori. The project was completed with the opening of a school in Via Pozzarello 10, Grazie di Curtatone MN.
