LIPOSONIC

The revolution in the treatment of CELLULITE and LYMPH DRAINAGE with new modulated sequential 3 MHz ULTRASOUNDS

“LIPOSONIC represents a totally new way to solve the cellulite “problem”. It is the synergetic alliance between a microcomputer, two hi-tech very high frequency modulated mechanical waves generators and ten special transducers”

After years of research and progress in electronics there is now a new way to get the maximum effectiveness using ultrasound mechanical waves for a scientific treatment of cutaneous Lipodystrophy (cellulite, that should not be counfounded with cellulitis).

Cellulite is the consequence of an imbalance caused by widespread factors like diet, stress, alcohol and circulatory problems: due to this reasons, for a lasting cure a dietition must be consulted, who can identify the factors determining the presence of cellulitis and advise on the best way to eliminate it.

However, once the lipodystrophic (cellulitic) tissue has formed, the disfigurement remains and it is therefore necessary to intervene from the exterior, breaking down and melting away the hardened connective tissue and then favouring the removal of the excess liquids and waste products.

Among the different physical therapies available, the treatment by ultrasounds at 3 MHz has been found to be particularly effective due to the following factors:

  • It is possible to treat all stages of cellulitis.

  • The therapy affects only the parts treated and has no side effects: the selective breakdown and fusion of the hardened connective tissue with consequent metabolic releasing of subcutaneous fat does not occur as a results of pharmacological processes but is instead an effect of the energetic mechanical action of the ultrasound waves.

  • The excess liquids and metabolic waste are removed by a process of natural re-absorption by the lymphatic system, promoted by the sequential activation of the ultrasonic emissions (termed "Lymph drainage" (lymphatic drainage)) which exerts a lymphatic draining action affecting the underlying tissue down to a cellular level, with excellent results noticeable from the first application.

  • Ultrasounds increase the permeability of the skin, so if an anticellulitis cream is used instead plain GEL, the absorption is greatly improved.

  • the therapy is not invasive.

A severe drawback of standard ultrasounds is the intense manual activity (massage) needed to treat the wide areas affected by cellulitis.

Now LIPOSONIC grants a safe, automatic and standardized “virtual” massage, thanks to its 10 transducers which can be firmly secured to the parts to be treated.

The same instrument can be used in the Lymph Drainage mode (lymphatic drainage) for the subsequent removal of the excess liquids and metabolic waste previously freed by the action of the ultrasounds.

Once the transducers are in place the microcomputer suggests a standard protocol: the treatment can start immediately, just pressing the button START.

In any case any parameter can be changed, to adapt the protocol to particular cases.

No more action is needed, the unit performs the treatment for the proposed or selected time: the operator is free to work on another patient.

The apparatus is equipped with 10 movable ultrasound transducers which are secured by straps.

The 10 tranducers are grouped in 2 groups of 5 and the operator can regulate the power from 0 to 3 W/cm2 separately for each group; it is also possible to use 5 transducers when cellulitis tissues are not spread.

It is possible to regulate the emission time of each pulse and the total time of treatment.

In any case the unit proposes a standard setting for all these parameters, so the operator does not need to take care of all these regulations.

The LIPOSONIC is therefore an extremely innovative instrument which at last makes it possible to plan a correct and effective, large scale treatment of cellulitis.

The apparatus is manufactured following strict electrical safety regulations (EN60 601-1).
