La città di Bergamo è divisa in due nuclei urbani nettamente distinti. La parte alta, posta sopra ad un colle, cinta di mura costruite dai veneziani (XVI sec.), è il nucleo storico. Questo borgo, caratterizzato dal tipico aspetto medievale, è attraversato da vie strette e tortuose e conserva monumenti di grande interesse storico. The town of Bergamo is devided into two urban different parts. The upper part, situated on a hill, surrounded with walls built by Venetian people ( XVI Century), is the historical site. This suburb, has a characteristic tipical medioeval look, is crossed by narrow and winding streets, and preserves monuments of great historical interest.
