Requisites:
(click here for information on beads & wire)

  • brass wire (0,30 mm)
  • green wire (0,31 mm)
  • purple beads, size 11/0 (you could replace the purple beads by white or pink beads)
  • flower stem/stalk wire
  • brown flower tape
  • flower pot
  • clay
  • gypsum
     
 
  1. String a large amount of purple beads on a brass wire.
    Turn 12 beads together into a loop, 10 cm from one wire end and create a little stem of half a cm. 
  2. 1 cm ahead, turn another 12 beads together and create another stem of half a cm. Leave about half a cm space between the little stems.
  3. Turn loops according to the following sequence:
    (12-12-, already made)
    11-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-5-5-5-5-
    6-7-8-9-10-11-11-12-12.
  4. Fold the wire and twist the wire together between the loops.
  5. Repeat this action until a the loops are opposite of eachother.
  6. Fold all the loops in the direction of the top to create the flower.

  1. Create 81 branches using basic technique 5.
    Create these branches using the following amount:
    1 x (4-), 8 x (4- 4-)

  1. Take a 25 cm iron stem and fasten 3 flowers to the top with a piece of flower tape.
  2. Wind down the stem half a cm with brown wire.
  3. Fasten a green twig to the stem with a piece of flower tape and wind down 1 cm with brown wire.
  4. Fasten a flower with a green twig to the stem with a piece of flower tape and wind down 1 cm with brown wire.
  5. Fasten another flower with a green twig to the stem and wind down 1 cm with brown wire.
  6. Fasten the last flower with a green twig to the stem and wind down another cm with brown wire.
  7. Fasten the remaining 5 green twigs to the stem and leave half a cm space between the twigs.
  8. Wind down 2 cm with the brown wire.

Create 9 little branches.

  1. Take the 3 branches and fasten them with flower tape, one cm under the green twigs.
  2. Wind down, across the flower tape, 1 cm under the green twigs, 3 cm of brown wire.

Create 3 big branches.

Finishing the tree:
  1. Fasten the 3 big branches with flower tape, 3 cm under the green twigs. Wind down 3 cm.
  2. Wind down the brown wire 3 cm across the flower tape.

Put the little tree in a nice flower-pot in a base of clay. Fill the rest of the pot with gypsum so that the clay won't dry out.
