Yippie! I went into my supermarket today to do my weekly Saturday food shopping and as soon as I walked through the door I got such a surprise when I saw Smurfs!!! Kinder Surprise displays with smurfs and lots of chocolate eggs! Was so excited. I grabbed 8 eggs and when I got home and checked them all I didn't get any smurfs. So very disappointed Oh well. Will have to keep trying... but next time I'm not wasting over 15 dollars in one go like that. I know I could just buy these on ebay.. but theres no fun in that is there.

Looks like the Smurfs are starting to make their come back in Australia!

And you can build a smurf village on their website. Download scenes, print them and colour them. Also there is a 3pack with a smurf scene. I didn't see smurf boxed 3packs on the display.

Best way is to buy the boxes with 3 eggs, as there are normally 1 egg with a smurf in.
I still haven't gotten any smurfs eggs her.

I think I'll go back and take a look at those 3packs. Its pictured on the website but has smurfette on the box but those ones on the shelf look like they don't have smurfs on.. unless they are on another side of the box. I didn't pick up to look. I think I'll try my luck again tomorrow.

And yes Maureen, that is a very nice display.
Might have to keep my eye on it when it looks like they are about to finish with it. Might be able to grab it but I doubt my chances just as much as completing the set of 8.

I know. i told my mum about them and she said she would be heading over to woolworths and would buy some. she texted me later to say she bought 4 but no smurfs. she said false advertising. all that smurf promotion and out of 12 eggs we couldnt even get 1. oh well.

Maybe the smurf eggs aren't out yet?

If i buy a package of three then it says on the box at least one smurf.
But making promo's like that and then 12 eggs and no smurf.............

I thought maybe they have old stock on the top of display to sell first. but youd think with that many eggs and the smurf promotion that there would be smurfs in them. thats why i grabbed 8. i forgot there could be other toys in the eggs because the display was all smurfs and makes it look like youd find them easily. but obviously not. i think ill look around some more shops tomorrow and hunt for the 3 packs with the smurf packaging. hopefully will have some luck with those.

That's why i don't buy those that much.
You must buy so many to get just a few smurfs.
Most of the times you can find them at fleamarkets or fairs to.

That´s disturbing, I thought that the box with 3 eggs was suppose to have at least 1 smurf in it!

Im about to head out for the day to a huge shopping centre with the megaplex cinema and search around for smurfs. so hopefully i can find the 3 packs with smurf box. maybe they only include smurfs in those packs. dont know. we will see.

Just got back. and no smurfs. Stopped in 2 woolworths. they both had the new kinders with smurfs but no big display like my local. only bought 1 kinder today and no smurf. i dont think ill waste much more money on these. didnt find any 3 packs with smurfs on the box either. so oh well.

Didnt find anything else smurfy either. even in the cinema. the subway display was gone. maybe moved down the halls to the cinemas. you cant get down there without tickets.

Well I finally found my first smurf last night! Only took 16 kinder surprises I think they put old stock on that huge display or I'm very unlucky. But I checked a different Woolworths supermarket on the way home from work and bought 1 kinder and got Smurfette! So I was happy. Then my mate at work called later that night to say he had picked up 5 eggs and managed to get 3 smurfs out of them for me! Seems like the smurfs are easy to find if you get them straight out of the smurf display boxes. I read on facebook another collector bought 8 and got 5 smurfs out of them. And my smurf collecting friend in QLD found a smurf in her second egg. So think I'll be buying my kinders at a different wollies where I'll have better luck. But atleast I'm now halfway to a complete set. Look forward to seeing my other smurfs today when I get to work. (Hefty, Lazy & Clumsy).

So great that the surprise eggs smurfs made it to down under!!! I'm crossing my fingers for you that you will happen to find the missing ones without eating so much chocolate, Brad.

well it seems the smurfs are easy to find in kinders... lol Anyway I got those 3 from my workmate yesterday morning and then during the day I received a text from my mum. She had bought 2 kinders and got 2 smurfs I didn't have (Papa & Brainy). And she found them in a different supermarket called Coles. So during my lunch break from work I went to my local Coles and bought 2 eggs. And I got 2 smurfs!! BUT... doubles of the ones I got that morning from my workmate. Oh well... at least my luck is improving, ha! Picked up my couple of smurfs from my mum and she'd managed to grab an empty box for me aswell

So I'm only missing 2 kinders now.

Completed the set today!!!! My sister bought 2 and got Gargamel plus an extra Papa. And then another workmate bought 1 and surprisingly gpt the last one i needed baby smurf. so im glad i finally have a complete set... didnt take very long. after last weekend i was ready to give up but seems they werent to hard to find. now just waiting for those 3 packs. another aus collector has found them.
