Augusta King Tigrett

Augusta King Tigrett is the daughter of Isaac Tigrett, founder of the Hard Rock Café, and of Maureen Cox (formerly Starkey). Augusta was born in 1987, when Maureen was 40 years old and already a grandma to Zak's daughter, Tatia Jane (born in 1985, Zak was 20 years old). First pic is a more recent picture of her. Last pic is her with both her parents. I wrote to Augusta maybe 3 months ago via facebook, I thought she would never reply but she did :)
My email :
Dear Ms. Tigrett, I was wondering if you are the daughter of Isaac Tigrett and Maureen Cox Starkey Tigrett, if you are not, please ignore this message. I know I may not be the first one to ask you this and I am deeply sorry if it could importunate you. The reason I am writting is that I am an 18 years-old girl who is really a big fan of your mother. I loved her style (I am a big fan of the sixties) and from what I've read, she seemed to be such a gentle individual.I was wondering if you could possibly relate some memories that you have of her and teach me a bit more about her, as I am such a big fan.I would understand if you do not want to or don't have the time to do so. Thank you for your time, Best Regards, Stephanie

Her reply :
hello, sorry for the late reply, yes i am maureen and isaac's daughter, augusta. i have no problem talking about mum but i am not sure what to tell you. one thing is that every person i speak to no matter it be someones grandpa or sting and trudy styler they all say she was the kindest most accepting person they ever knew, and on one or many occasions made them feel welcome when no one else would or when it was not cool to be talking to that person she would invite them to sit at her table and make them feel loved and respected. she would always pick a spot in the room and let people come to her rather than buzzing around the room, and it is ok to put a few ice cubes in your champagne, it keeps it cold, and it also helps to keep you from getting too drunk at parties lol. she loved animals and we used to have lots of them. her style was impeccable until the day she died, maxfields in LA was one of her favorite stores and she almost always wore black. she loved lounging around in black leggings but loved to dress up and was always late to the party as she spent a long fun time getting ready with friends or playing with me. thats all i can think of for now, she was adored by everyone, i dont know how she did it always kept her cool and was always there for her friends. i hope this helps,Live well and prosper, (she was a star trek fan too lol)x x x ak

What a great girl Augusta sounds. I met her Mum in London once when I was meeting with Isaac at their flat in Park Lane on a business matter. She walked into the room with a tray of tea and was just natural and unassuming. I was a bit wowed - the ex-wife of a Beatle and now THE wife of Isaac Tigrett. What a life, sadly all too short.

Met Amandi at the Aykroyd Family & Friends Gala in northern Alberta, Canada, and she proved to be as gracious and lovely as I'd expected. A pleasure to meet!

I am lucky enough to have met Maureen at her home several times, and also to have been at her table the opening night of the House of Blues Sunset Strip. She was totally disarming and charming- gracious and warm, she never made you feel that she was somehow more special and important- even though of course she was. She was a truly nice and decent person, with an original and wonderful sense of style.

She was young when her mom died. More likely the Starkey kids would be able to provide more information. She seems like a great girl though. Its nice that she has some memories of her mother.

Ringo’s granddaughter is Tatia “Jayne” not “Jane.” Jayne is my middle name too!
