Patch notes for King of Fighters 15 version 2.32 have been released. Those within the Street Fighter 6 community have mused on X (formerly known as Twitter) how SNK were able to release their patch notes before Capcom, being that fans are currently waiting for the Street Fighter 6 Season 2 patch notes.
Regardless, the latest patch has provided adjustments to just two characters in King of Fighters 15 — Kukri and Kim Kaphwan. What's interesting is that these two combatants are generally perceived to be very middle of the road in Season 2 of King of Fighters 15 in that they're not too strong or too weak in the current meta.
Earlier this week, popular content creator Maximilian was given the opportunity to check out Street Fighter 6's upcoming DLC character, Akuma, ahead of his May 22 release. He had a limited time with the fighter and was able to show off some of what the returning legacy character can do in the latest iteration of the beloved fighting game franchise.
On top of working through all of Akuma's combo trials, Max was able to hit the lab and try to find some of the strongest stuff he could within the time allotted. Last time, Maximilian shared a devastating Akuma combo that dealt a whopping 6,600 damage, and he has since broken this record and released another combo that hits even harder.
The time has almost arrived with just over a day until Akuma arrives in Street Fighter 6, and he's bringing some new toys to play with as well.
Capcom just announced a new Character BGM feature that's been highly requested for SF6 as well as a shop to contain said music.
Although Street Fighter 6 players are the ones currently hyped up for an update this week, it seems like they might not be the only ones.
NetherRealm Studios announced today that server maintenance is also incoming for Mortal Kombat 1 quite soon.
We're just a few days away from the release of Akuma and the Season 2 balance patch for Street Fighter 6. Leading up to this date, Maximilian Dood was apparently given early access to the new update with permission to stream by Capcom, so long as he didn't do a deep dive into character changes.
While we're still waiting on the official patch notes, members of the community have noticed some changes from the streams. Thanks to some keen observers, it's been noticed that there's a change that will impact every character universally.
After waiting for almost a whole year, fans can almost finally get their hands on Akuma in Street Fighter 6, but not quite yet.
Instead of patch notes just yet, it seems that Capcom is gifting us all a new SF6 battle preview for Akuma showing off the demon in action some more.
After the MultiVersus Open Beta went down in the middle of 2023, Player First Games went silent about MultiVersus for months. Just recently, it was announced that MultiVersus would be returning on May 28 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
Since then, the Joker was revealed as a playable character and Mark Hamill was reprising his role as the character's voice actor. Following that, Banana Guard was also revealed a playable fighter, even though he previously functioned as a usable item during the beta.
Street Fighter 6 is rapidly approaching some big changes in the coming days with Akuma and a balance update on the way, but it's not here just yet.
VesperArcade recently put together his final tier list for Street Fighter 6 Season 1 where one character stands above the rest.
Following up on our previous theory of why Season 2 DLC characters for Street Fighter 6 may be coming from Street Fighter 4, today we're examining Street Fighter 3 for its potential to be the basis of SF6 Season 3's DLC characters in 2025.
Street Fighter 3 is one of the most controversial games in the entire franchise, because Capcom brought in 15 newcomers to the series, and left quite a few of the most popular characters on the cutting room floor, like Guile and Dhalsim.

Late last night, Maximilian Dood announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Capcom had provided him with early access to Akuma in Street Fighter 6. As such, Maximilian Dood has spent a lot of time exploring Akuma during his recent stream.
At one point, a particularly nasty combo was shown off. It turns out that Akuma can link from a raw heavy Adamant Flame if it hits as a punish counter in the corner. This might seem impractical, but the way that Akuma weaves backwards before thrusting forward with incredible reach means that this could actually happen in a real match.
We're just three days away from the release of Akuma and the Season 2 balance update for Street Fighter 6. Of course, the Gokuento stage, Akuma's home stage in Street Fighter 6, will also be available for download.
