Day 1. Nairobi � Mt
Kenya
Distance: 210 km (3
hrs ) Morning drive through fertile Kikuyu land to arrive at the
elegant Serena Mt Lodge, built in dense Mount Kenya forest.
On arrival enjoy a sumptuous lunch before heading for a
forest walk in Mt Kenya National Park. From your room/ rooftop
balcony or bunkers you may watch the animals arriving at the
floodlit waterhole and saltlicks throughout the evening and

Day 2. Mt Kenya -
Samburu Safari
Distance: 170 km (3
hrs. 30 min.) Soon after breakfast at the Serena Mt Lodge,
rejoin your safari and continue further north to the semi-desert
area of Samburu National Reserve. Afternoon game viewing drive
in this reserve reveals the rare species it is famous four like
gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and the grevy�s
zebra. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge, B,
L,D.
Day 3. Samburu
Early rise for game
viewing drive in the Samburu National Park. Breakfast at Samburu
Serena Lodge. Afternoon at leisure for perhaps a game viewing
drive in this reserve. Overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge, B, L,D.
Day 4. Samburu �
Sweetwaters Safari
Distance: 160 (2hrs &
30mins). Breakfast at the lodge and drive to Sweetwaters Game
Sanctuary for lunch and leisure at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Afternoon is free for optional activities such as game viewing,
walking safaris, horse back riding or night game drives.

Day 5. Sweetwaters
- Nakuru
Distance: 125km (2hrs
& 30 mins). As you journey southwest today, stop at the
impressive Nyahururu Falls, formerly Thompson�s Fall and then
travel along the magnificent Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru,
world known for its vast population of pink flamingos. Drive
through Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya's finest rhino
sanctuaries and admire the flamingos and other abundant birds
dancing along the lake's shoreline. Arrive at your lodge,
overlooking the lake, Lake Nakuru Lodge, B,L,D
Day 6. Lake Nakuru - Masai
Mara.
Distance: 310km
(5-6hrs): Traverse the Rift Valley en route to the fabled Masai
Mara National Reserve, rich with wildlife, birds, natural flora
and stunning scenic beauty. Arrive at your lodge for lunch and
afternoon game viewing. Tonight enjoy a traditional performance
of tribal dances by local Masai Warriors, Mara Serena Lodge,
B,L,D

to 237 herbivores per km2,
the Maasai Mara ecosystem has the richest assemblages of
wildlife in the world, making it one of the most productive
natural terrestrial ecosystems.
It is not only the numbers but the species composition
that is buffling. The
Mara highlight is the annual wildlife migration (JUL/AUG/SEP),
when over a million wildebeest accompanied by Zebras, Thomson�s
gazelles, in close vicinity of the predators migrate from
Serengeti to Mara and back.
Day 7 - 8. Masai
Mara
Masai Mara National
Reserve is the northern extension of Tanzania's famous Serengeti
Plains. It is Kenya's premier place of seeing wildlife, and home
to a thriving population of predators such as lion and cheetah,
as well as hippo, crocodile, zebra, giraffe, elephant,
wildebeest and impala. Today, enjoy thrilling morning and
afternoon game-viewing drives in this photographer's paradise.
In between game drives, relax at your comfortable lodge, take a
dip in the pool and enjoy the delicious food served, B,L,D
Day 9. Masai Mara -
Nairobi.
A short morning game drive. After breakfast at the lodge, drive
back to Nairobi where the tour ends, B.

this safari: - The best time to enjoy this safari is of
course between Jul to October during the annual wildlife
migration in Maasai Mara.
Note that in Jul the wildebeest are crossing the Mara River into
Serengeti.
Visa Requirements:
- You can get your visa upon arrival In Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta
Airport. Otherwise to make your work easy get the visa at
the Kenyan Embassies abroad.
Booking:
Due to lack of accommodation space in Maasai Mara, this
safari is best booked 6-12 months in advance. Space can be
secured at any of the Mara properties one year in advance.
Within six months of the tour departure, you might not get the
