Question 96 Cobra Engine Problems

I have a 96 Mustang Cobra with 38,000 miles on it. I changed the plugs/wires and fuel filter about 10,000 miles ago (Autolite Platinum Plugs/Crane Cams 8.5mm wires). I put in a K&N filter about 6,000 miles ago, and have always run Mobil 1 Full Synthetic. That being said here is my problem, @ around 5,000 rpms I am getting a pretty big hesitation for a brief second, and sometimes @ 6,000 rpms. It started out as only one hesitation, but now it has done it up to three times in a row. Only feel it in second gear/third gear(I think because 1st has enough torque to where it isnt as obvious) and it only does it at wide open throttle. If I only give around half to 3/4 throttle I have yet to have it happen. Other than that I havent noticed any kind of performance loss/idle problems. Thank You all for looking, and I appreciate all suggestions. Thanks Again.
