Coming right up are two very different screenings of my dance films, both in Michigan, happening a few weeks apart.BROTHERS KEEPER was selected to be part of a conference on Queer Dance at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. It's keeping company with the likes of Wayne MacGregor and Jennifer Monson, and with Doug Wright's ELEGY.
YEAR MAKE & MODEL is showing at Upstate/Detroit Independent Film Festival in Birmingham. It's keeping company with BROTHERS ON THE LINE, a new documentary about the Reuther brothers, leaders of the United Auto Workers.
It makes me very happy to imagine those 2 audiences, both enjoying my work in their different communities ... all kinds of brothers.
