Rodrigo studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of UFRJ, Photography at Ateliê da Imagem, Urca, Rio de Janeiro, also worked as assistant to the artist Luiz Zerbini and participated in the Deepening Program of the Visual Arts School of Parque Lage. Camouflage is present conceptually in his works creating, to the public, the doubt between what is original and what has been modified. His most pungent artistic reference is the work of Gerhard Richter. In 2018 participated in the collective ‘A Luta Continua’, The Sylvio Perlstein Collection, Hauser & Wirth, New York. In 2017 participated in the collective ‘A luz que vela o corpo é a mesma que revela a tela’ at the Caixa Cultural, Rio de Janeiro and held the individual ‘Víveres’ in the gallery A Gentil Carioca, Rio de Janeiro. In 2016 held the individual ‘Apreensão’ at Casa França-Brasil, Rio de Janeiro. In the same year participated in the collectives ‘Primavera nos dentes’ at LUME Galeria and ‘Mapas, Cartas, Guias e Portulanos’ at Torre Santander, São Paulo. In 2015 participated at the collective ‘Vértice’ at Centro Cultural dos Correios, RJ e SP. In 2012 held the individual ‘Sensor’ at A Gentil Carioca gallery, RJ. In 2011 participated at the ‘Geração 00 – a nova fotografia brasileira’ at Sesc Belenzinho SP. In 2010 participated at the collective ‘Arquivo Geral’ at Centro Cultural Hélio Oiticica RJ, ‘Crossing Borders, Building Bridges’ no Modified Arts, Phoenix and ‘16° salão UNAMA de pequenos formatos’, Graça Landeira Belém-PA. Stll in 2010 won the award ‘Prêmio Diário Contemporâneo de Fotografia’ UFPA museum, Belém Brasil, the acquisition award at the ‘16o Salão UNAMA de pequenos formatos’ and the ‘Prêmio Itamaraty de Arte Contemporânea’. His work integrates important collections such as: MAR – Museu de Arte do Rio, Brasil; Itaú Cultural de Fotografia, Brasil and Kadist Foundation.
