Fun fact this comic is actually lost media and this is one of the few surviving panels

Isn’t this from tails gets trolled?

Actually, no! It’s from a comic called ‘Master Chief and Luna Hanging Out’, and it was 99 pages of early 2010’s DeviantArt nonsense that disappeared when the artist, thet7770ify, deleted their account.

As far as I know, the page where that panel is from is the only page we have left.

We in the mlp fandom have been looking for the rest for a long time to thank them for their service.

I just need everyone to know about this tiktok account where these two girls sit and make a cocktail or a mixed drink, usually in a public place, but specifically usually like a fast food restaurant, and look around somewhat nervously while they do it like they’re on the run. They’re usually prominently featuring 2000s-era pop culture like wearing bedazzled clothing or using a Motorola RAZR. It’s called 2girls1bottl3 and I’m obsessed with it.

just remembered a fic on AO3 (or more likely LJ because it had that distinct 00’s experimental vibe) that appeared double-spaced oddly, in that some paragraphs would be spaced normally and others would have double or even triple spaces in between. it was about one half of the otp getting over the other’s death (or coma, can’t remember which), so all the comments were about how poignant the use of visual spacing was as a means to convey all the emotional holes in the character’s life.

and then the author replied like… *giggle* guys it’s NOT double spaced. try selecting the whole text

and we were all like “no WAY”

but we selected the text, and yes!!!

the “holes” in the story? they were actually lines and actions from the dead/coma character’s ghost, rendered invisible to the eye by the simple trick of coloring the text the exact same as the background, revealed by nothing more than a click and a drag of the mouse

a story about the profound loneliness of losing your the partner of your life and having to make do without them, without anything to fill the holes they’d left behind, suddenly became a story about the profound helplessness of seeing someone you love suffer from your absence while you are right there, unable to do anything about it, unable to communicate that you love them enough to suffer unseen and unheard with them, just to keep them company they’ll never know about

it was then that I truly realized how *superior* the digital medium is to plain printed paper, how the medium and the format can add to a story.

I think about that fic about once a year. I wish I could find it again

INTRODUCING: THE PRISONER’S TROLLEY PROBLEMMA

A trolley full of your loved ones is heading down the tracks and will hit another loved one. If you redirect it, it will hit three strangers, but all of your loved ones will be fine. However, there is another person on the other side of the tracks facing the same problem. If you both choose to redirect the trolleys, they will crash in the middle, killing almost everyone.

The least amount of people will die if you do nothing and allow a loved one to die, the best-case scenario for you will occur if you pull your lever and the other person does not pull theirs, and the worst-case scenario will occur if you both pull your levers.

What do you do???

good lord

Hey guys, happy black history month!

I hate to beg but I recently went back to college and I’m paying super high interest rates for loans because I’m an immigrant and I don’t have a super lengthy credit history.

You might recognize these from edits/pinterest/telegram etc. I made them! So if you’ve ever wanted to support my work, you can share this post around and/or tip me on ko-fi. anything is super appreciated and goes towards my student loans ♡
