system can be used on a dynamic annual<br />

subscription base.<br />

The rated producer/supplier gets an<br />

overall performance report of his company<br />

highlighting strengths and weaknesses. The<br />

rated performance level will become visible<br />

and allows future dynamic optimization. Any<br />

producer/supplier has the option to initiate or<br />

speed up remediation process supported by<br />

our experts. On top there will be the option<br />

to become part of the web community<br />

promoting company and products on a virtual<br />

platform to all potential buyers. This<br />

highlights him as a reliable business partner,<br />

increases his reputation and shows his<br />

performance to potential customers.<br />

The benchmarking system does not expect a<br />

completely new or different orientation but<br />

includes all standards the producer might<br />

already have (such as ISO 9000/14000,<br />

OEKOTEX, SA8000, GOTS, BSCI, Brand<br />

Codes of Conduct, etc. ).<br />

Nevertheless <strong>3p</strong> <strong>PLUS</strong> can be extended as per<br />

buyers expectations with additional tailored<br />

requirements to the <strong>3p</strong> <strong>PLUS</strong> indicators. A top<br />

performance rating level for a producer does<br />

not only validate available standards and<br />

certifications but assures additional relevant<br />

system criteria for a lasting sustainable<br />

performance.<br />

Results of the benchmarking can<br />

become an integrated part of the<br />

internal Risk Management System.

The benchmarking procedure starts with a web<br />

based assessment. The producer submits general<br />

company data and provides evidence on<br />

implemented management systems, safety<br />

measures and certifications. The three dimensions<br />

of sustainability - product people planet - are<br />

interrogated online.<br />

The provided data are screened and evaluated by<br />

gsm. A communicational process is initiated to<br />

cross check available information and the validity<br />

and reliability of the data. If further details and/or<br />

documents are needed, our experts will team up<br />

with the producer/vendor for clarification of open<br />

issues.<br />

All data transmitted is assured as confidential by a<br />

separate non-disclosure agreement, only the<br />

results can be made public by the assessed<br />

Based on the online-assessment results a basic<br />

report is generated. This report reflects the overall<br />

performance of a producer as well as details<br />

concerning the different sustainability dimensions.<br />

Producers can optionally vote for a site verification<br />

audit as add on. The site audit has the objective to<br />

check the online reported measures and systems<br />

on-site. The results are documented in an<br />

advanced report posted on the web platform.<br />

Remediation, improvement and optimization can<br />

be continued on a voluntary base in cooperation<br />

with our qualified local partners. Experts in the<br />

requested field such as environment or product<br />

safety will guide the producer through the<br />

improvement process for a better performance.
