This fine country house at the feet of the rocky plateau of Orvieto was restored in 1998 and converted into a charming hotel. A small structure, surrounded by green, the Hotel Acquafredda is run directly by its owners and boasts excellent prices in relation to the good quality service and warm hospitality provided.

The furnishings of the common spaces have all been designed specially by a well-known local craftsman and help create a unique atmosphere. The hotel is within easy reach of the Orvieto railway station and the funicular that runs up into the centre of town is just half a kilometre away.

The hotel’s 11 rooms are located on the ground floor and first floor. Each room is furnished differently and some of the rooms have open beam ceilings. The furnishings are simple, in wrought iron or painted wood. Each rooms has its own bathroom, telephone, minibar, television, independent air conditioning and heating. Some rooms are provided with a Jacuzzi in the bathroom.
