We started at 27th january 2012. Only days ago.

We're working hard on our office layout and our products for web publishing.

It's like sometimes not knowing how crazy something is... is a good thing.

Day 1: 27th jan - Corley birthday!

What is Corley?

Corley is an italian startup focused on web and cloud development, founded by Gabriele & Walter.

We're working hard on our product line: we'll provide a complete cloud-based content management system (Cloud Corley CMS) that is now under packaging and final release.
We're also working on UpCloo, a cloud based and fully hosted indexing engine that helps you to create incredible and automatic correlations between contents of your website.

Day 4: 30th jan - A home for Corley...

Maybe we found a 700 ft office for our startup, in the heart of Turin, Italy!

Day 6: 1st feb - Office: rented!

The home of our cloudy dream.

Now we have a small but smart place where working, planning and make business.

break 1. Who we are?

Gabriele Mittica

Gabriele is a 28 years old web developer with a long experience on dynamic websites.
He worked over 6 years on content management systems development and frontend designing. Now he's focused on AWS integration with CMS.
He loves dogs, trekking and soccer.

Walter Dal Mut

Walter is a 28 years old web developer with a great experience with web engineering systems.
He can provide a powerful experience with PhP, Java and cloud based architectures designed to grant scalable and high-performance availability.
He loves cats, swimming and rugby.

Day 8: 3rd feb - A gift from Amazon!

Today Gabriele woke up and said: Woaaaa!

We received a great news: Amazon Web Services opened a new edge location for CloudFront in Milan!

Now the cloud is better near to us. Thank you, Amazon!

Day 11: 6th feb - Over 1 million of REQUESTS served.

UpCloo is our semantic correlation service, now in beta test.

Thanks to the cloud we are proud to say that UpCloo has exceeded the limit of first million requests during 2012.

Special thanks to our customers who have been involved in the test.

Day 16: 11th feb - Week end: work in progress...

We spent our weekend doing shopping and planning our office.

We have purchased: desks, meeting tables, chairs, lamps, sofa, bookcases, shelves and other tools.

...and, last but not least, Walter has connected the power cables without die!

Days 21-23: 16th-18th feb - Interior design!

Day 27: 22nd feb - JAVA is here (the coffee, not the language...)

We're developers, but we're italian too... Today our new coffe machine arrived to the office! Oh, yeah!

break 2. The first month has gone!

Step by step.

During the last weeks our hands have been only for this new adventure.
Work on furnitures. Go to the bank. Call the business consultant.
Now, after the first month, we can focus on our products, the brand, our new projects.
In the next weeks we'll work on new UpCloo features, search-based services for blogs and newspapers online, integration of new AWS products.

Day 41: 6th mar - Working on products

The office is not complete yet,

but even though we have only two desks

and some other tools

we're working hard on our products.

We're excited to say that each new day

the Corley Products are closer to final release.

Day 47: 13th mar - Another break in the wall...

Walter, one drill, and a bicentenary wall (we need the phone cable!)

Day 51: 17th mar - The Corley flag is here!

Day 61: 27th mar - The Corley flag is ON!

If you believe that is simple to pick up a great-plexy-heavy flag on the wall... you're in wrong! But, after two hours, we did it!

Days 67-69: 2nd-4th apr - Working on the CLOUD.

Corley Platform is our cloud based content management system.

It provides a lot of functions developed on Amazon Web Services, like media management, users control, publishing of web pages and social sharing.

In these days we designed and tested the new infrastructure behind Corley Platform: as you can see by the picture on the left, we can serve over 150 concurrent connections thanks to our small, agile and cost affordable infrastructure.

Day 76: 11th apr - Yuppie (or nerd?) inside...

Today we took another step towards professionalism... (coff... coff...)

Day 91: 26th apr - Workstation assembling

Finally the pc components were arrived and now are ready to be assembled.

We choose Intel Itanium-series processors, Samsung SSD, NVIDIA GPUs, Asus Mobo, CoolerMaster cases & fans, Netgear Net Storage and Microsoft Windows 7.

The new workstations will work with our MacBooks, Ipods, Android Phones & Tablets, and more...

break 3. The first 6 months have gone!

Working hard!

The first six months were like a bolt
At beginning we were focused on all aspects of our new business: office fornitures, brand and marketing, product design and development.
Now we're working on our corporate website and UpCloo final release.
We are proud to announce that we have made large test on our CMS: 1 billion requests and over 380 concurrent connections, thanks to AWS. We'll write a detailed report very soon!
