Great pizza, superb service, upbeat unstuffy ambience.
I intend to return next time I'm in Atlanta .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1019271513Apr 16, 20241 check-in
Absolutely massive and delicious pizza! This spot was one of the first to pop up when I was searching for food around Midtown. I ordered through Uber eats so can only comment on that experience.
I got the San Gennaro, which was delicious! The pizza was huge, the base of the crust was thick and chewy while the bottom was thin and crisp. There was a generous amount of toppings from the sweet peppers to the sausage. I loved all the toppings! My only complaint is that I wish they were more evenly distributed, as some slices had only Parmesan while others had all mozzarella.
The pizza was a little cold when it arrived but its not the restaurants fault. I could tell it was super high quality and very well made -- would definitely recommend!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 17960105Mar 25, 2024
Wow. Best pizza I've ever had. They have earned their Michelin nod. Thin crust, incredible toppings and just simply excellent pizza. Nice ambiance of a busy casual restaurant where your number is called out after you order at a counter. You sit picnic table style amongst other guests and there are various toppings that you can add when you get your pizza (chopped garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, oregano, olive oil, Parmesan, spicy peppers in oil). Limited bev options, but there are wine bottles and you can get water at your table in cups.
Try the Sophia (special right now -- mushrooms, truffle oil, scrumptious).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Feb 29, 2024
Wow
I didn't think this city could produce a great pizza. I honestly really wanted to hate it purely out of spite. Really ... a great pizza in the south?? How is that possible without all those delicious crustaceans that the water here lacks?? While I'm not well versed in the science of baking - Antico's produced something absolutely magical. I'm ashamed to say it but I'd take a pie here over one at joes on 8th and 21st in a ravenous inebriated act of compulsion.
Go here. Get a pie. Get a whole bottle of wine. Sit and people for an hour on a Friday night. You'll love itHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 16, 2024
Delicious pizza! I had high hopes for this place and it met most of my expectations. We came on a Wednesday night and there was no line. It's really obvious that their pizza quality is very high. Their dough and crust was something special. My biggest regret is not getting simpler pizzas. We opted for the Diavola and Capricciosa, but I actually think this pizza would've stood out more if it had less ingredients. I can tell they do simple well. As such I had to give it 4 stars but I'm hopeful the next time I'm back this will taste even better!

Would give it 5 stars, but minus one for the service. Even though the interaction is short, it made me feel unwelcomed and bothersome.
I got the Diavola (spicy sopressata, pepperonata, bufala, garlic), and highly recommend it! If you have a low tolerance for spicy, like my boyfriend, just avoid the red peppers and you should be ok. The texture of the pizza was perfectly warm and baked and very much similar to the pizza's I've had in Italy.
There is more table seating if you go in the back, where you'll find longer picnic-style tables.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 23, 2023
Super super solid pizza. Definitely a top 5 Neapolitan style pizza place for me! Tastes just right with the right texture. The Diavola is *chef's kiss*, spicy and savory, great drunk food, if you can handle the heat.
I would say the only minus is the wait time. I think we had to wait 10-15 minutes to get our pizza when these should take 90 seconds to bake, ideally. They have enough ovens, but it seems like they may have prioritized a few of the takeout orders.
They have cheese and red peppers on the side. One thing I really appreciated was the sink in the dining area so you can wash your hands easily before and after.
Bon appetit!Helpful 1Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 23, 2023
One of the best Fire-grilled pizza in Atlanta area !! One of the best places to eat in Avalon or battery park.
Service is quick, lines are always long so order online for pickup or be ready to wait for the pizza and the sitting place. Not many choices but Margherita with fresh Basil one is the best choice !!! Crowded most of the times since so famous and good. Sides of fresh-pressed garlic & chili paste adds a kicker taste.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 29, 2024

100% lives up to the hype!
The pizza crust was light and chewy with nice char. Flavors were robust and portions size was great for sharing and leftovers.
Great casual spot with communal tables.
