• WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A TTLA MEMBER?
  • TTLA members have access to the largest, most robust network of trial lawyers in Texas. We provide opportunities to connect with the best trial lawyers in Texas both in-person and online. Members also have access to plaintiff-centered CLE opportunities in a variety of in-person and online formats. Finally, our legislative program is the centerpiece of our work, focusing exclusively on civil justice and the right to trial by jury.
• WHAT IS TRIALSMITH?
  • TrialSmith offers a variety of research and collaboration tools exclusively for plaintiff’s attorneys. TTLA members have access to TrialSmith’s deposition bank and other services.
• WHAT IS THE TTLA LIST SERVER?
  • The TTLA List Server is a one-of-a-kind online network of Texas trial lawyers. This fully searchable list server puts the research power and experience of TTLA’s membership at your fingertips. Members can ask questions, float case strategies, and gather information straight from their laptop or mobile device.
• DOES TTLA OFFER CLE?
  • Yes! TTLA provides in-person and online CLE opportunities year-round. Our live and on-demand programming focuses exclusively on the plaintiff’s practice and on helping members succeed in the ever-changing legal landscape. We provide education opportunities in a variety of formats, including muti-day conferences, one-day in-person seminars, live webcast, and on-demand. New members have access to one seminar, conference, or live webcast at no cost within the first year of membership.
• CAN I GET INVOLVED DURING THE LEGISLATIVE SESSION?
  • Yes! TTLA provides our members several ways to be involved in the legislative process by reviewing proposed bills, doing legislative research, and assisting the legislative team at the Austin HQ. We also organize TTLA Legislative Days for members to visit directly with key lawmakers.
• HOW DO I GET INVOLVED WITH A TTLA COMMITTEE?
  • TTLA has a variety of committees and caucuses, engaging members in all aspect of the association.
