Divesicily originated from Alex’s (our founder) passion for the ocean and scuba diving together his brothers Angelo and Roberto It all started as a group of friends, Sicily’s diving pioneers, who went diving for fun. This wasn’t enough for Alex, so he made it his goal to show everyone what the underwater world looked like. In order to do this, he decided to slowly start investing scuba gear and study material for his few students and taught locally for a few years. In 1991, with a small boat, Divesicily starts to teach and guide international visitors from all over the world in the fascinating depth of the east coast. Almost 40 years, thousands of students, visitors and new friends later, Divesicily is still leader and a successful company. Alex’s wish is to carry on connecting with people from all around the world, and show them the amazing nature that is hidden under the surface of our ocean.
