Le Lune d’acqua is inspired by the moons that orbit Jupiter. A Sphere, mysteriously luminous, is the center of the project.
Two rings support it, allowing it to rotate freely suspended in the center of their intersection.They are the fundamental structural element that communicates with the space, supporting the central illuminating nucleus allowing dynamic movements and reflections on their shiny and mirrored surfaces.
The “Lune d’Acqua” lighting system reinvents Discovery’s patented optical principle, shaping it into a complex surface, almost as if it were a luminous eye.

On 14 April, INTERNI magazine celebrated its 70th Anniversary and inaugurated Milano Design Week 2024 with a “Designed Dinner” at the evocative Loggia of the 18th-century courtyard of the University of Milan.
Benedetta Tagliabue and other designers were invited to decorate seven tables with a personal selection of objects, using tablecloths, complements, decorations, and lights.
The table proposed by Benedetta Tagliabue pays homage to the 1994-2004 design decade, welcoming 30 guests. The project involves the creation of a large table centrepiece composed of Ragno ceramics juxtaposed with Gerro vases designed by Enric Miralles, carafes by Josep Maria Jujol and Aino pottery by Alvar Alto: objects illuminated by Domita lamps designed by Tagliabue herself for Bover and candelabra by Stoff.
In relation to the exhibition at Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, Italy, there was a cycle of conferences entitled “La creatività è donna”.

Benedetta Tagliabue – EMBT Architects was shortlisted with three projects in the competition of the international sea fishing base in Shengshang Island, China. Winning the first prize for the Fishing Culture Exhibition Hall and Reef Restaurant. In collaboration with Metrics.
On the most eastern point of China, we find the idyllic Island of Shengshang, known as the End Mountain, a traditional fishing place with rich aquatic resources.
Nature in China – Shanghai, visiting Century Square and EMBT Team
Now that we can say that the Pandemic restrictions have finally come to an end, Benedetta and part of the team of EMBT Barcelona have been able to visit colleagues and friends in China during this month of November, checking how projects are progressing in China.
We have been delighted to visit Work in Progress in Century Square in Shanghai. A project that looks at bringing back nature to this incredible city.
Fudan, a new concept of university.
We have been able to visit and check the progress of our project for the University of Fudan in Shanghai. The new campus offers the perfect opportunity to embody the spirit of Fudan in it´s new buildings, wich are nearly finished.

The V Biennale di Architettura di Pisa 2023, will take place from the 13th to the 29th of October. The theme that it addresses is architecture as a tool for new social balances.
