SERGEI ISUPOV: EXPLORING THE SCULPTED FIGURE AND THE PAINTED SURFACE
Join internationally acclaimed sculptor Sergei Isupov for a two day workshop exploring the sculpted figure in clay and the painted surface – from the development of ideas to the materialization of form.

FACILITIES
In the wake of the devastating fire that burned down the old workshop building at Guldagergaard in December 2023, we’ve embarked on an ambitious endeavor to resurrect the facilities.
The efforts of the team were set into motion the day after the fire to manifest a new chapter – “Guldagergaard 3.0” – which is now beginning to unfold.
Today stands a professional temporary workshop spanning 220 square meters. Fully equipped with state-of-the-art ceramic apparatus and a kiln park, which has been operational since the beginning of February 2024.
We expect the establishment of a new permanent workshop building to last until the middle of 2025.

CERAMIC ART INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY
Guldagergaard remains dedicated to nurturing the symbiotic relationship between cutting-edge technology, creativity, community, and the natural world. And Guldagergaard 3.0 will continue to focus on innovation while championing sustainability practices within the profession.
Despite the setback in 2023, Guldagergaard remains steadfast in its commitment to international collaboration and experimenting within the ceramic field, and will continue to serve the realm of ceramic art, craft, and design.
Moreover Guldagergaard 3.0 also aims to engage a wider audience with its concept of Claytopia, which is gradually taking shape.
CLAYTOPIA
A VIBRANT CULTURAL VENUE
Claytopia is Guldagergaard’s initiative geared towards engaging the public, offering a unique space within the beautiful park surrounding Guldagergaard.
Among Claytopia’s activities are outdoor art exhibitions, concerts, discussion salons, and a design boutique.
It is our ambition to further develop Claytopia, and we are already well underway in crafting a vision that can elevate Claytopia to new heights.

An important goal at Guldagergaard is to provide artists with the possibility of working with different materials and methods on several projects all at the same time.
When artists have the chance to work in a professional environment, exchange knowledge and experience with other artists within the ceramic field, and start inspirational collaborations the professional skills of the artists improve.
