Does Bisou have bottomless mimosa brunch on saturdays as well? Or is it just on Sunday?

Whenever I pass by now, I take a moment of silence to remember the times I cannot remember at Bisou.
But highlights: many birthdays, slipping down the stairs, affirmative clapping and cheering for those who use the upstairs restroom while we sat next to the door, leaving phone chargers, and big hugs from Nic. I'll miss you, Bisou. Thanks for the memories.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0May 16, 2012Previous reviewLet's see:
- Bottomless Mimosas - check!
- Loud, house music - check!
- Friendly staff who remember MY name - check! check!
I love coming here for the atmosphere, and the mimosas. Nick and Matthew (Matheiu?) are great people, and always make my friends and I feel awesome right when we walk in. Yes, its in the Castro so expect a loud and gregarious roomful of your soon-to-be friends! The seating arrangements is a little too close for comfort, but what can you do?
I enjoy sitting next to the upstairs restroom because my friends and I have this game, rather, a cheer contest. In this contest, we cheer on people who use the restroom and come out. Random, I know. Plus, when you are upstairs you get to walk down the stairs, which for me, occurs while inebriated. If you are like me, you tend to fall down the stairs. Also, you get a great view of people dancing on the bar downstairs.
Food: I usually get the club sandwich with fries instead of chips and I always ask for the hot sauce. decent. but hey, when you are drinking away and swaying to the music (and having fun!), nothing is that bad.
I am grateful for Nick's hospitality and for always making sure that when I walk in, I get handed a cup of that sparkling orange concoction.
Thanks, bisou, for allowing me to experience "Sunday-Fundays" at its very best!

I don't usually venture out to the Castro for brunch, but glad the boyfriend picked this place out. Of course he knew we had to opt for the bottomless mimosas ($15 each). What I love the most about this spot is that their mimosas is basically 95% champagne and 5% orange juice. Heck yes to strongass mimosas! They also serve it to you in a champagne bottle --very neat.
We were seated upstairs in the balcony that overlooks the bar and diners below. I liked the ambiance very much too. As for the food, we shared the Bison Burger ($16) plus a fried egg ($2), the Dungeness Crab Slider ($12), and a side of scrambled eggs and cheese. Unfortunately, the food fell short despite their awesome mimosas. The burger looked way better than it actually tasted, but good and hefty nonetheless. As for the crab slider, we were expecting a simple crab cake so tossed out the buns on that dish. I hate to say it, but the fries were the best part of the meal. Either way, the bottomless mimosas are solid and would still come back for just that!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Jan 22, 2018
We went there for date night and we really enjoyed the food.
The bartender greats you with a "Bonsoir" as you walk in
The waitress was friendly and took our order promptly
We got the appetizers but our drinks did not make it till we were done with the appetizers (which was a little odd)
The fois gras is a perfect appetizer
We also ordered the truffle pappardelle and the scallops, both were really good and highly recommended
The chocolate fondant dessert was a perfect way to end.
Regarding the loud comments, there was no music on Monday ! So it was quietHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3277289010772Sep 8, 2017
Quaint French place.
Service is a bit slow.
They didn't charge corkage since it was my birthday celebratory event! Thanks!
Charcuterie was presented keenly to the eye! Foie gras was heavenly with fig and toasty bread.
Their pappardelle was homely!
The dining experience was lovely.
J'adore!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Oct 15, 2016

Drinks and service were both on fleak but that's where the fleakage ended. For me the brunch was a disappointment on levels that put the play on bistro and gastronomy to shame. My brunch buddy's food seemed to be great because before I even finished my eggs her entire dish was gone and she did not even stop to enjoy the bottomless mimosas which were definitely the highlight of the whole experience. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and the service was great at first but because it was brunch on Sunday in SF in Castro it was really busy and the service went from being super attentive to just nonexistent. However, if you flagged the two servers, who also seemed to be the host, they came to you immediately.
My beef was just ok but the potatoes and the frisee on the side was just so mediocre it really brought the mood of the whole thing down. Maybe, I should have asked the servers to recommend a dish for me. But alas, that was just bad timing.
At the beginning of the brunch, they ask you if you care for the bottomless mimosas and who doesn't - so we obliged. Next, there came two bottles of champagne that were pre-filled with mimosas and you could ask for more. Unfortunately, we didn't have time because it was our last day in SF and we had a lot of ground to cover.
But if I'm in SF again, I will definitely come here again and may be check it out during dinner time since those are the most glowing reviews this place has received. Hopefully this time they won't seat me almost across from the restroom which was also a place for them where they store tables and chairs. :| :-/Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 14, 2018
This place was wonderful. I'm sad to hear that it is gone now. What can I say about it? What do you care if I write a review or not? Well, here it goes. They had great eggs, and bottomless bloody marys. I was up in the balcony area, enjoying the view. They waitress kept giving us more bloody marys, even when we didn't ask. It was a good time.

Decent din, not unforgettable tho.
Brunch was meh. Club vibe, loud music. Felt a little forced.
Not impressed, aye.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 28, 2016
Excellent place for a Sunday funday... The staff is extremely friendly, most likely because they're not rude Americans like we are...
I have to admit the food has improved significantly since I went last year... The wait isn't long and it's prime location if you want to wander off to drink more after...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 10, 2017Updated review
Seriously obnoxiously loud Sunday brunch with Bad speakers in a cramped space.
Food was good...that was it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 3, 2012Previous reviewHad brunch here today and things couldn't have been better! The guys working here were entertaining, funny and super helpful. I got a wonderful Club Sandwich with an egg on it (my little touch) and it was scrumptious! I'm sad I haven't been here more than I have, but I am going to change that. This is my new spot.
