I've said this before here and in other walks of life. Two weeks and change ago, I went back to my native Long Island, New York to meet up with a lifelong friend to see a "local" band, Broken Arrow, that we quite literally grew up idolizing.  We were so sure they would be nationally and globally famous; and quite frankly, I'm assuming the band was sure of that as well.  They had it all--great songs with catchy hooks, stellar musicianship, soaring vocal harmonies; they looked and acted like rock stars because for all intents and purposes, they were. And based on that show two weeks ago, they still are.  So I hope you'll read this review that I just posted on Medium, and go find what limited clips of video (including this one that screams '80's!) and audio of Broken Arrow that are online (there are some hyperlinks in my piece).

Beyond that, we've got a couple of new projects and a very full slate of our artists' spring and summer tour dates.  Thanks for listening and have a great month!

The Wildwoods (tour press)--The Wildwoods are a folk-Americana trio from Lincoln, Nebraska who have spent the better part of a decade carefully stitching a delicate sonic blanket fortified by lovely harmonies and wistful lyrics. The band is currently touring nationwide in support of their third full-length album, 2023’s Foxfield Saint John. Whether performing an original song or putting their uncluttered stamp on timeless tunes, The Wildwoods exude melodic warmth, and they are currently planning for their next album to be released later this year.

There I Ruined It--Among the most followed comedic music channels on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, “There I Ruined It” claims to “lovingly destroy your favorite songs.” The channel’s unique and often viral remixes have even earned shares from the very “victims” targeted: from Ed Sheeran to Snoop Dogg. Followers include musicians like Justin Timberlake, Weird Al Yankovic, Questlove and Michael Bublé.  Now, the channel’s creator – Dallas native Dustin Ballard – has gone back to his roots: live music.  There I Ruined It--Live began in January and has another show scheduled April 14 in Fort Worth.
