The joint EEE-PT Working Group has published a new Information Leaflet on "Interlaboratory Comparisons other than Proficiency testing".
The new leaflet explains the three main purposes of interlaboratory comparisons (ILCs) and how the different objectives affect the design of the comparison. This in turn has implications for how laboratories can use different ILCs as evidence of competence in meeting the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
Thanks to the work of our colleagues at Eurachem Italia, the Method Validation Working Group is pleased to say that our two Supplementary Guides on "Planning and Reporting Method Validation Studies" and "Blanks in method validation" are now available in Italian, in a single volume.
Thanks to the work of our Eurachem colleagues in Germany and our CITAC colleagues in Iran, the Eurachem/CITAC joint qualitative analysis working group is pleased to announce the release of two new translations of our guide on "Assessment of performance and uncertainty in qualitative chemical analysis"., which is now additionally available in German and Farsi.
The Guide provides tools to help improve the quality of qualitative analysis and of their interpretation. The new translations are available at no charge from the Eurachem website.
Registration is now open for our May 2024 Workshop on "Quality Assurance in Chemical, Medical and Microbiological Laboratories". The event is on 13-14 May 2024, in Vilnius, Lithuania.
