HOCl breaks down the cells that are creating an infection by destroying the cell membrane and its DNA, thus preventing its reproduction or growth process.HOCl also known as anolyte water is produced by electrolyzing saltwater in an anode chamber of an electrolyte cell. The solution contains over 99.4% water with the remaining solution being chloride salts and hypochlorous acid
WHAT IS A HOSPITAL LEVEL DISINFECTANT?
Hospital-level disinfectants
are put through a rigorous testing process to prove their efficacy as part of the EPA registration process. EPA registers different types of disinfectants with the highest-level being hospital. Hospital-level must be supported by AOAC Use Dilution or AOAC Germicidal Spray efficacy testing against Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella Cholerasuis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa hides behind biofilm and is difficult to eliminate. Killing this bacterium is required for “Hospital-level Disinfectant”.
