As an iconic figure in the underground dance scene for over two decades, Christian Hornbostel has amassed a significant following with his consistent delivery of high-quality and diverse productions.

During the 1990s, he gained recognition as one of the masterminds behind Renaissance anthems such as MISMOPLASTICO and TRANCEILLUSION which were hammered by Sasha & John Digweed in their sets and featured on their groundbreaking Renaissance compilation. Throughout his career, Christian has collaborated with some of the industry's most prestigious labels and has been featured on the highly successful early editions of the Global Underground series.

Over the years, he has lent his remixing talents to a wide range of artists, from Satoshi Tomiie to Joi Cardwell, and from Deep Forest to Vanessa St. James & Grammy-winning artist Lou Reed (The Velvet Underground). His latest works have garnered support from a plethora of esteemed DJs, including DJ Rush, Ilario Alicante, Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Petar Dundov, and Sasha & John Digweed.

Following the release of numerous singles and EPs, Christian's track 'Sensor Acid Overload' found its way onto Richie Hawtin's CLOSE COMBINED on Plus 8 Records. This was swiftly followed by his debut album, Liber Novus, released in 2020 via POPOF's imprint FORM Music, marking a significant milestone in his artistic journey. Recognizing the importance of creating a concept album, he launched his own imprint, Praedikat. This move aimed to further expand his experimental range and establish an independent platform for releasing his albums in both digital and vinyl formats.
