Efren has been a part of artistic productions for a myriad of bands as well as singer-songwriters. The artist has gone through intensive courses with Nigel Eaton, Maurizzio Martinotti, and Pascal Lefeuvre. He has also learned north Indian music with Ajoy Chakrabakti, rabab and music with Daud Khan, and saz with Ross Daly (from Crete) and the Turkish masters.

He is an original composer who initially started contributing to musical projects by playing a role of a guitarist.

Today, he is a multi-talented instrument player as well as composer. Apart from being a variety of musical projects in the past, Efren is also a core player in different concerts as well as recording with few esteemed groups namely, the Yeden Quartet instrumental group of Greece and Trio Tzane as a feminine Capella group.
Efren also started contributing to two remarkable projects, one from Ex Silentio that is Greek-Austrian group of early music and other from Ross Daly & Labyrynth Modal Ensemble.

Efren has a distinct collection of his own recordings, most remarkable collaborations, and unique compilations. In the list of recordings, a few popular titles were with Evo, Chemirani, Aman Aman, L’Ham de Foc, and Sabir.
