SElinux packages for SuSE 9.2
April 6th, 2005
The following are SELinux enabled packages for SuSE Linux 9.2. Most have
been built by porting SELinux patches from Fedora Core's CVS tree to existing
SuSE packages.
SRPMs are available here:
If you use Apt for SuSE then
you can use these lines in your sources.list file to retrieve the packages:
rpm http://suse-selinux.leapster.org suse/9.2 selinux
rpm-src http://suse-selinux.leapster.org suse/9.2 selinux
Some caveats
- The policy files have been taken directly from the NSA SELinux source tree,
and have not been customised for SuSE yet. They won't work properly,
and if you put it into enforcing mode, it will hang.
- The slat package conflicts with a file from the info package. Haven't
had a chance to look at that yet.
- If you're going to use the patched kernel that I have supplied, make an
initrd with: mkinitrd -S -m "ext3 ide-core ide-disk ide-generic"
