The steel industry provides secure, high-wage jobs for thousands of workers, thousands of spin-off jobs, and drives manufacturing innovation. Pennsylvania needs to implement pro-steel policies that will grow the industry and create good-paying jobs – particularly at a time when we need family-sustaining jobs more than ever.

The Pennsylvania Steel Alliance is a partnership of Pennsylvania’s steel companies and labor unions united to educate the public and elected officials about the positive impacts of the steel industry and the policy issues affecting the industry’s growth. Steel Alliance members include labor organizations and steel companies across the state, as well as organizations that support the steel industry. Our members work together to support policies and initiatives: to grow the steel industry in Pennsylvania and create new jobs and greater economic prosperity in Pennsylvania.
